On Monday, the 7th of May 2024, Australian Owned revealed the winners of their 2024 business awards. Amidst a fiercely competitive pool of nominees, Ranger Nick emerged as the recipient of the esteemed "Australian Owned Achievement Award 2024".

Ranger Nick was caught by surprise, when he received the message from the Australian Owned judging panel, stating "Your commitment to Australian ownership and excellence is truly commendable, and we are honoured to recognise your business as a leader in its field. It was a very tight competition this year, and your victory is a testament to the exceptional quality of your business."

"I was on my way to the Capella Country Music Festival, after spending a few days in the scrub with no mobile reception, when I received the news. Needless to say, I am absolutely thrilled, flattered and honoured.", Ranger Nick states.

This award signifies Ranger Nick's third triumph within a twelve-month span, having previously been a Finalist in the Australian Small Business Champion Awards and a Winner in the Innovation and Sustainability Excellence category of The Australian Rural Business Awards.

Renowned as the charismatic Aussie Bush Cook, Ranger Nick embodies the true Australian spirit with an unwavering passion. A legendary patriot of Australian Heritage and Traditions, he has been travelling the country and abroad to pass on his camp oven cooking and bushcraft skills to fellow adventurers.

With four published books, his own brand of merchandise, The Guinness World Record Title of the longest Damper and several educational programs, Ranger Nick is featured as the resident bush cook on Channel 7Mates TV program "Step Outside with Paul Burt", as well as on Saturday mornings with broadcaster Danny P. Hoyland on West Bremer Radio.

Few things render the dinky-di Aussie speechless, but with humility, he expresses his gratitude, stating, "I extend my heartfelt thanks to all for your unwavering support, I better pull up my socks and keep on going".

Ranger Nick anticipates receiving his official trophy in early July at the Dayboro Annual Show.
